Who Is Average Joe???

Average Joe is allmotorcyclestuff.com's motorbike test rider. At allmotorcyclestuff.com we think that a test rider should be Joe Public or more to point an Average Joe.

Average Joe is in his mid thirties, he is over 6 foot and being attacked but what appears to be a beer belly. Joe found motorbikes late in life and has been riding for a couple of years but has loved it every day. He commutes to work on a bike every day of the year if at all possible as well as going at for sunshine blasts with groups. Joe does suffer from some lower back ache and so looks for a comfortable ride as one of his review criteria.

When completing a test ride Average Joe therefore does not care about if this years model has 3bhp more than last years model, he does not care if the acceleration from 0-60 has decreased in time by 10 nano seconds. Average Joe wants to know is it comfortable to ride, does it turn heads, are the controls obvious and the read outs clear. He will also want to look into the extras prices and see if it is likely that 1 or more extras would be worth looking at to make the bike a much nicer ride.

Average Joe does like to test the throttle a little and so will let you know if there is any poke in the machine, he likes to try bikes of all types and all power levels to get an overall feeling for any type of machine.
